Piston sample-takers are used to collect powdery samples in a gravity flow.

The piston is driven in the flow of material by a pneumatic actuator and collect a predefined volume of powder. Two air inlets are provided: one for the cleaning of the piston in park position and one to evacuate the material pile above the sampler chamber.

A manual version (M11) is also available.

With its small footprint, the piston sampler can be easily installed in your processes.

Complete solutions with primary sampler and mixing hopper allow larger quantities to be sampled from the main flow, while obtaining final samples of reduced mass and volume.
