The PRV is used to collect samples in a gravity flow. The material is collected by the rotating spoon and conveyed into the DN 100 cylinder equipped with a screw. Screw and body are welded so that material being sample is not broken by friction.The whole unit is driven in rotation by a gear motor. The sample is then collected at the cylinder outlet. As an option, a volumetric chamber allows a dosing of the sample, the rejects being returned to the main flow.
